The Edgewater Democrats are largely responsible for turning Edgewater into the thriving community on the "Gold Coast" that it is today.

1. Achieving an AA3 Bond Rating
2. Stabilizing municipal taxes
3. Securing over $20 million in grant mone
4. Purchasing the Grand Cove Marina and rebuilding it
5. Bringing ferry service back to Edgewate
6. Providing three new facilities for senior citizens.
7. Building a Community Center in Veterans Field
8. Building  a new fire house in central Edgewater
9. Purchasing a new fire engine and budgeting for another
10. Lessening density by enacting height restrictions for developers
11. Finalizing plans for a new Police Station & Municipal Complex
12. Firming plans to restore the old Municipal Complex
13. Providing free jitney busses.
14. Increasing bus service
15. Installing more bus shelters
16. Renovating municipal tennis and basketball courts
17. Budgeting for more sports fields, pathways and a gazebo in Veterans Field
18. Budgeting for additional Hudson River Walkway development
19. Acquiring 39 acres to be used only for open green space and recreation
20. Maintaining six playgrounds and eight parks
21. Hiring the borough’s first minority and first female police officers
22. Improving streetscapes by installing speed humps and 11 new traffic lights
23. Enforcing Steep Slope restrictions
